I HAVE A DREAM..

Dr. Martin Luther King, what a powerful person. If it weren't for him, standing up and believing that this nation could change, we'd probably be living in segregation, which personally is a disgusting society. MLK once said, "The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy" wow, I feel as if he predicted himself, in some ways. Change is among one of the greatest things to live through, I am fortunate enough to reap the benefits of the changes MLK made for us today.

Lunch is served!

Pancakes for lunch? I think yes, the healthy type to be exact... Yes, I know it sounds unappetizing, well after a few tries I think I got it right... Not approved by the kids I nanny, but I thought they were decent! Here is the healthy version:
1 1/2 cup of old fashion oats
8 oz of low fat milk
1 egg
1 egg white
A dash of vanilla

Wisk it up and microwave it to heat the oats so they cook a bit! Once you've ladled the first pancake add a little touch I did one with blueberries---even more healthy, WOW!
Surprisingly, they were pretty delicious with a little dab of honey since they were a little blahhh! All in all a pretty good experience, even though they were a bit boring and lacked taste but hey, got some good fiber and other healthy stuff...

Life as a blogger....

Narcissistic, just a little, but who isn't?

Today marks the day, where I begin the life as a blogger.  Posting to whom ever will read about things I encountered -- restaurants, dessert, fashion.  In case you wanted to know who I am, heres the skinny: young adult, enjoy fashion trends and fashion period, obviously shopping, skulls, skulls and more skulls, studs, glitter, love to eat out new places and new faces, drinks (mojito's my favorite), have great laughs with great people, absolutely cannot resist chocolate chip cookies, and I am just living life, one step at a time.
